Presented by the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), as part of Piano Panoply: A Celebration of the Piano and its Music: Past, Present and Future, from 3-5 October: a three-day celebration of the piano, featuring concerts, a public exhibition, a free public lecture and a research symposium.
Led by Music Directors Dr Tonya Lemoh (Head of Classical Piano) and Stewart Smith (Director of the Centre for Keyboard Heritage and Performance Research), Piano Panoply showcases the richness of WAAPA's keyboard collection. Presented by an impressive array of leading music scholars and brilliant performers, this festival includes several unique concerts, a free interactive exhibition, and a day of fascinating discussions, presentations and interviews at the piano Panoply Symposium.
